As the May 29 handover draws near, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III yesterday admonished leaders in the country to ensure justice and fairness in the discharge of their responsibilities. He said justice and fairness are prerequisite to achieving success.
The Sultan stated this when he received the new Emir of Gusau Alhaji Ibrahim Bello who paid him a visit at his palace in Sokoto added that this would ensure peace, stability and understanding in the country. He identifies insecurity and unemployment as some of the major problems affecting development in the country.
The Sultan also expressed concern over security challenges in Zamfara State and some parts of the country, urging relevant authorities to urgently address them. The royal father tasked stakeholders to assist in curbing the problems.
